Is grammar a lost art? I’m not the sort of person that looks down my nose at someone who doesn’t cross their i’s and dot their t’s, but I do believe that it is critically important to be able to communicate efficiently and effectively. It seems to me that if we all used the same set of rules and practises, that would be a lot easier.
This test is easy anyways, and I’m trying to relax a little bit after getting all strung out arguing with Paul. Nibbles to the Vanity Press.
Way to go! You know not to trust the MS Grammar Check and you know “no” from “know.” Now, go forth and spread the good word (or at least, the proper use of apostrophes).

in some respects i can appreciate what you are saying. however, at the same time i have to acknowledge that there are a lot of people who truly struggle with communication. whether it be in the written form or verbal; by no fault of their own. and yet many times, at an early age were tagged with a label in grade school, and later to fall through the cracks; because they did not fit into mainstream academics.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not judging people who have difficulty with grammar or language; I’m rather suggesting that a lackadaisical attitude about it is detrimental.
